My galaxy exists in the known universe.

I was thinking the events could take place a hundred-thousand years into the future.

It may take that long before inter-stellar travel is possible.

Or, I could just do it in this day and age, but the question is whether or not it is enough time for civilizations to develop space travel since the dawn of The Universe.  That is a good question, which is why I've been having trouble thinking it through for Star Trek and Star Wars.  Dune kind of makes more sense being far into the future, with humans from Earth populating the known universe, evolving into different forms based on different environments.

It is possible, but unlikely that life has evolved on other planets.  We just don't know yet.

I was thinking the possible name of my galaxy could be Lovinsia-46, since my last name is Lovins, and I'm 46 right now, haha.
It is fine as a working title.

I assume that my galaxy is normal to a large size, giving room for millions of worlds to exist, just like The Milky Way.

At the center of my galaxy is a black hole, just like in ours.

I assume that the basic laws of physics would operate as normal in my galaxy.

I would rather have various factions fighting for power rather than one big Empire like in Star Wars.  I just can't figure out how one Empire would be able to maintain control over a million worlds.

I also can't figure out how a person can be in another solar system and talk in real time through a hologram with a person.  Both Star Wars and Star Trek avoid this problem.  The only way I can figure out how to solve this is that the communication signal goes to another dimension, and comes out again at the destination.

So, my galaxy would have to have access to this other dimension all the time, because that is how space travel would exist...through a huge interstellar subway system.  I ripped that idea off from Arthur C. Clark.  It's the best idea I ever heard of besides hyperspace, and the way they travel in Babylon 5 with the use of stargates.

I'm not interested in my galaxy being for kids, unlike Star Wars.  Warfare will be more realistic.  People will bleed and die, just like in real war.
Star Wars presents war as fun.  I don't think that is how it is.

There will be robots, androids, and other stuff just like you would expect in science fiction.

There will be pleasure androids for those that can afford them.  They will have dials that you can adjust if you don't want them to talk too much....haha.

There will be orgies and pleasure planets.

My galaxy will be rated X.

There will be a religion planet for people to go to if they want, but hardly anybody goes there, except for tax purposes.

STD's will be a thing of the past.

People can just eat a pill if they don't want to impregnate people.

There will be planets just for big game hunting, with marvelous beasts.

There will be a Zoo World, where the whole planet is a zoo, containing animals from all over the galaxy.

There will be an Amusement Park planet.

Fast Food Restaurants and Diners will be located on asteroids, or small moons.  People get hungry, you know.  They want to eat something different than space rations.

There might be some energy swords, but no lightsabers.

There might be a planet where everyone has superpowers, but don't know how that would work yet.

Most planets will have some kind of brothel or whorehouse.

Life in my galaxy will be business as usual, just like here on Earth.

On some ships and space stations, there would be some anti-gravity rooms where people could have sex in if they want, and just float around, haha.  It would have to be a self-cleaning room after use, haha.

Well, that is enough for now.  I'm going to think about what I wrote, and see what happens.

Yeah, there are tens of millions of galaxies in The Universe, that there is no need to be stuck in either the Star Trek or Star Wars universe.
There is enough room for people to create their own galaxy, and populate it anyway they want.

That is what 'Space Journey Battles' is for me.

My galaxy contains way more nudity, humor, and art, haha.

I'm tired of having science fiction be for kids or teen-agers.  It just sucks.

Philip K. Dick had some adult themes, so I don't know why I can't.

In Blade Runner, Rick Deckard f***s the android 'Rachel'.

     So f*** it.

* * * * *

There won't be any jedi in my galaxy, but I might make fun of them, we'll see.

I learned about 'The Knights Templar' from The Middle Ages, employed by The Catholic Church who then betrayed them.  The knights were pissed.

So, I might work with this theme a little, not sure yet.

But one thing I learned is that any event in history can be turned into a sci-fi theme.
