Yeah, there are tens of millions of galaxies in The Universe, that there is no need to be stuck in either the Star Trek or Star Wars universe.
     There is enough room for people to create their own galaxy, and populate it anyway they want.

     That is what 'Space Journey Battles' is for me.

     My galaxy contains way more nudity, humor, and art, haha.

     I'm tired of having science fiction be for kids or teen-agers.  It just sucks.

     Philip K. Dick had some adult themes, so I don't know why I can't.

     In Blade Runner, Rick Deckard f***s the android 'Rachel'.

     So f*** it.

     There won't be any jedi in my galaxy, but I might make fun of them, we'll see.

     I learned about 'The Knights Templar' from The Middle Ages, employed by The Catholic Church who then betrayed them.  The knights were pissed.

     So, I might work with this theme a little, not sure yet.

     But one thing I learned is that any event in history can be turned into a sci-fi theme.
