I keep thinking about 'Space Journey Battles'. It seems to be with me. I've been working out things in my mind about how it would all work.
If it was a cartoon show, I was thinking how that would be. It would take a lot of work to put it all together.
All I can do at this point is to keep thinking about it, and make some drawings.
A space adventure would give me plenty of room to work within. We're kind of running out of room on the Earth for things to be interesting in fiction. Things need to be extreme now. That's why we have superhero movies.
I hear they are even going to make an 'Ant Man' movie. I wonder how that would work.
Anyways, I'm listening to 'At The Mountains of Madness' audiobook on youtube. The reader is very good. I think H.P. himself would approve of the good job this reader did.
Basically, I tire of the lack of blood, gore, and sex in Star Wars. Kids ruin everything.
I heard that in 'Star Wars The Old Republic' that they had originally planned to have lightsabers cut off an arm or leg here or there once in a while, but because of the esrb rating, they had to do away with that.
'Age of Conan' is made in Norway, so they can do more what they want, like having dead bodies strewn about, and showing some partial nudity.
I play this game from time to time. I like it.
'Space Journey Battles' would be the combination of everything, as far as I'm concerned. One episode could be like Charles Dickens, another one might mock '2001: A Space Odyssey'.
One thing I would like to do is to make fun of the Captain Kirk/ Gorn battle, and how slow it is. That would be fun and funny to do.
One problem with getting 'SJB' off the ground is I am really lazy, haha. I only draw when I am at the cafe or bar.
I like to write when I'm in the studio, so I'm good for that.
One episode idea I had is where a bunch of Cholos break off from the rest of humanity, by stealing a ship, and finding their own planet, where they make their own rules. Then everybody forgets about them for a thousand years, until 'our heroes' find themselves crash landing on The Cholo Planet.
I don't know if the inhabitants survived or not, or if there are pockets of Cholos still running around. I'll have to think about it. I don't really know much about Cholos anyway, except that they have a lot of tattoos, and they can be really mean if they don't like you.
It might be a scary episode, not sure, but maybe they could all have a big fiesta at the end, and everyone is happy.
The Star Trek episode where some woman takes over Kirk's body is still unwatchable to this day. I can't stand that one.
With 'Spock's Brain', watching it as an adult, I was thinking, "How bad can this episode really be?" Then I tried to watch it, and it was just horrible. What were they thinking? haha. I have no idea.
Then, I've tried to think about time travel in the 'SJB' universe. It gets to be mind-boggling. To deal with that, I thought that 'SBJ' might be a small universe located right here on Earth, so everything could remain in our time.
I haven't figured that out yet.
I don't like time travel stuff too much anymore. It seems to be used as a 'cop-out' too much in science fiction, when they run out of ideas. Plus, it's never been proven that time travel is really possible anyhow.
I like the idea that one day, our solar system will be populated. The funny thing is, it could be made into an online game, with bases on every planet and moon. It could be done. The capacity for large online games is getting to be tremendous, and it will keep increasing.
I think Eve Online might be the largest online game there is, not sure.
In 'SBJ' there would be a planet called 'Porn World'...haha. I don't know if that episode would get past the censors. Maybe 'SBJ' could have its' own 'Adult Only Website' where I could put all the naughty parts into picture, text, and video form.
I'm really frustrated as an artist by what I can and can not do, so I want to bypass all of that.
We all know The Sarlaac Pit is just a 'vagina monster'. When I was a teen, I didn't know that, because I wasn't quite sure what was going on with those mysterious vaginas. I had heard about them, but they were never fully explained to me.
So, those are my latest thoughts concerning 'SBJ'. I have to get to work on this, if I am ever to buy a house using the proceeds from this franchise. I could use a house. I'm tired of this poverty crap.
Anyway, how are you guys doing? Good? That is good.
Meanwhile, my sith inquisitor Bunnybear on swtor is nearing level 18. I've been having fun trolling the general chat box, and recruiting new members for our guild 'Church of Jawa'. It's a good time. I do it all day long.
I used to watch 'Space: 1999' as a kid, and collected all the cards. It's 2014, and we still don't have a base on the moon. We might someday, as they found water on the moon, which can be used to make fuel.
I didn't see 'Gravity'. I guess I should have. I was too lazy to go to the theater. I heard it wasn't always too accurate with actual physics.
In conclusion for right now, since I'm getting hungry, science fiction is all about hot babes in skin-tight costumes, dude. That is why 'Space Journey Battles' must someday exist.
