"Hi, I'm here at the cafe on my Slyloth lot. I got my coffee. Life is good when I got my coffee. Also, I have time, which is a precious commodity sometimes. I don't have to be anywhere today, or do anything. However, I will do as much as I can to further my career."
With that, Dirk sipped on his coffee.
Dirk just sat there looking at the trees gently blowing in the wind, looking at the landscape from his outdoor table.
It was a nice day, so he had no complaints.
There was some girl who lied about her age. She stated that she was twenty-one, yet when Dirk talked to her, she seemed a lot younger. She said that she was studying computers in college, yet didn't know much about setting up a video account on The Galactic Network. She also said she lived with her parents, and that she was taking courses at home; yet, she could not identify her main area of study readily, and she said she didn't have a major.
Dirk basically busted her. She was not telling the truth.
As it turned out, her motive was to try and obtain credits from Dirk by emotionally bonding with him.
Dirk's instincts turned out to be correct, that the motive for her wanting to be friends with him in the first place was that she was going to try and hustle him out of his pocket change.
"No dice for her," Dirk thought to himself as he put his feet on the table. "Fudge her."
He was trying to curb his swearing.
Anyway, there was nothing that was going to ruin his day. He was going to kick back, relax, and have a good time.
