Here at the Cosmic Cafe

     I just got here.  They have the Galactic Wire Service installed here, so I can get onto the internet.  The signal isn't very strong.  I wish they would install a repeater, or a signal magnifier.  Trying to watch videos here in the cafe is almost impossible if there are too many people here with laptops.
     It is another slow start for the day.  I was up half the night doing research.
     I slept well, so that is good.
     I am nothing without coffee, so I'm still not awake yet.

     Basically, it is an Economic War.  It has been going on for a long time.  There have been times when it has been dormant in sleeper mode for a while, but then it always comes back in full fury.

     In a way, World War I, II, and III were three acts within a single play.

     Humans seem to like war for some reason, when mathematically, it makes no sense.  It then becomes about something other than money.  It becomes about power.

     Life is so short anyhow, that by the time you actually do get power, you are too old to enjoy it.

     Anyhow, I am at the cafe, and I need coffee bad.

     My head doesn't kick in until it has been properly caffeinated.

     Every time the line dwindles down, I get ready to get my coffee, but then somebody else gets in line.

     I could do this work at home, but they have good tunes and nice looking alien chicks here.  If I can't date them, at least I can look at them.  That's something.  It is enough to influence my consciousness.

     I'm not getting anywhere.  I'm going to stand outside for a minute.

* * *

     So, it is just another day.  But somehow The Universe will flow through me.

     One would think sitting in a little cafe wouldn't mean much of anything, but it does.

     We are all traveling through time at every moment.

     We are The Time Machines.
